18 December 2012, 19:10  USA, NAHB: Builder Confidence improves to 47 in December vs 45 in November

The National Association of Home Builders/Wells Fargo Housing Market Index (HMI), released today continued growth to 47 in December in builder confidence in the housing market for newly built, single-family homes. The improvement continues for an eighth consecutive month in December.
According to NAHB/HMI builder confidence was revised to 45 in November.
“Builders across the country are reporting some of the best sales conditions they’ve seen in more than five years, with more serious buyers coming forward and a shrinking number of vacant and foreclosed properties on the market" the analysts say.
