7 November 2012, 22:34  USA: Treasury sold 24 billion USD in 10-year notes at the lowest since July yield of 1.675%,

The Treasury sold on Wednesday 10-year notes at total of 24 billion UD dollars. While the yield turned put to be 1.675%, the lowest since July.
According to CRT Capital Group, groups of bidders that include foreign central banks and domestic money managers purchased a slightly bigger proportion of the auction compared to recent ones, which is generally a positive sign about investor interest.
Yields on the current 10-year notes fell down 11 basis points at 1.64%.
