29 November 2012, 19:18  USA: Pending home sales rose 5.2% in October signaling the recovery of housing sector

The National Association of Realtors reported Thursday that pending home sales rose 5.2% in October as the index of pending home sales grew to 104.8 in October from 99.6 in September.
Pending sales rose 13.2% in October 2012 compared to October 2011, being the 18 month of annual gains.
The economists say that the recent data signaling the recovery of housing sector in US. NAR's chief economist states: "We've had very good housing affordability conditions for quite some time, but we're seeing more impact now from steady job creation, and rising consumer confidence about home buying now that home prices have clearly turned positive".
