2 November 2012, 20:21  U.S. stocks declining ahead of elections

U.S. stocks declined on later Friday, giving up early gains as cheer over better-than-expected employment data gave way to nervousness ahead of the U.S. presidential election next week.
The equity market had been buoyed at the opening by labor Ministry release of more than expected job creation in October by the economy of the USA as a sign of steady improvement.
The Nasdaq Composite index COMP fell 8.48 points to 3,011.66.
The S&P 500 index slipped 2.4 points to 1,425.25, with energy and materials biggest loses in10 industry groups.
