U.K. retail sales volume that include sales of automotive fuel grew 0.6 percent in September from a month ago, when it fell 0.1 percent, the Office for National Statistics said Thursday. Economists had forecast a 0.4 percent rise for September. Sales excluding automotive fuel also expanded 0.6 percent month-on-month, larger than the 0.3 percent rise forecast by economists. On a yearly basis, retail sales including fuel climbed 2.5 percent and sales volume excluding fuel grew 2.9 percent in September.
