18 June 2012, 18:11  Belgium: June, Consumer confidence remained unchanged

Consumer confidence in Belgium remained unchanged in June, after improving in the previous month, data released by the National Bank of Belgium showed Monday.
The consumer confidence index remained unchanged from the previous month at -10 in June. In April, the reading was -12.
Households' expectations of the country's economic situation in the next twelve months turned a little more optimistic in June, with the relevant indicator rising to -5 from -9 in May. They were also more optimistic about their own future financial condition. The corresponding sub-indicator rose to -1 from -3.
Meanwhile, Belgian households were slightly less upbeat about their saving capabilities in the next twelve months, with the indicator for the same dropping to 2 in June from 3 in May. The measure of households' views of unemployment situation in the country rose to 35 from 31, data showed.
