The euro zone posted a trade deficit of 0.9 bln eur in December unmoved from the revised figure for November, against a 5.5 bn euro surplus in December 2004, EU statistics office Eurostat said. November estimation was for a deficit of 2.3 bln eur. For year 2005 as a whole, Eurostat said euro zone trade produced a surplus of 23.4 bln compared with a year-earlier surplus of 71.5 bln.
