German retail sales declined 1.0 pct in real terms in November from October and were down 0.6 pct from November last year, according to preliminary figures from the Federal Statistics Office. The results were based on data from a representative group of retailers in five German states. On a nominal basis, November retail sales were 1.2 pct lower from October and down 0.3 pct year-on-year, it said.
