15 November 2005, 12:05  Dutch Sept trade surplus 3.119 bln eur vs revised 1.936 bln in Aug

The trade surplus in September was sharply higher at 3.119 eur from 1.936 bln in August, revised from a preliminary figure of 1.959 bln, the Central Bureau for Statistics said. It said exports rose 8 pct year-on-year in September to 25.1 bln eur, while imports were up 11 pct to 22.0 bln eur. Exports to EU countries rose 7 pct year-on-year to 19.4 bln eur, while imports from EU countries were up 3 pct, at 12.0 bln eur Meanwhile, exports to non-EU countries were up 14 pct to 5.7 bln eur, while imports from non-EU countries jumped 20 pct to 10.0 bln eur year-on-year, the CBS said
