Luxembourg Central Bank Governor Yves Mersch said Friday that euro-zone interest rates may be too low for Luxembourg's economy. Mersch noted that potential output in Luxembourg is higher than in other euro-zone member states. "You could say in a purely national environment, interest rates would have to be higher," he said at a seminar on Basel II.
