Domestic sales of new cars, trucks and buses, excluding mini-vehicles, fell 1.5 pct in August from a year earlier to 246,877 units, the Japan Automobile Dealers Association (JADA) said. Passenger car sales slid 3.7 pct to 203,537 units, while bus sales rose 1.4 pct to 1,623. Truck sales increased 10.3 pct to 41,717.
