Domestic sales of new cars, trucks and buses, excluding mini-vehicles, fell 3.4 pct in July from a year earlier to 349,905 vehicles, the Japan Automobile Dealers Association (JADA) said. Separately, the Japan Mini-Vehicle Association reported that mini-vehicle sales in July rose 3.8 pct from a year earlier to 167,243. Mini-vehicles account for about one in every three vehicles sold in Japan.
