Shares remained lower in midafternoon trade on profit-taking, following gains in the last three sessions and as high oil prices dampened sentiment, amid a lack of local corporate news to trade on, dealers said. Тhe DAX 30 index was 7.47 points or 0.16 pct lower at 4,591.74, having moved between 4,579.32-4,598.81 so far this session. The MDAX was at 6,189.19, down 14.30 points or 0.23 pct, while the TecDAX was at 535.86, down 1.10 points or 0.20 pct. The DAX future was at 4,593.00, up 4.00 points or 0.09 pct. Dealers said the market had been lower throughout today's session as high oil prices worried investors, adding that volumes were low and volatility therefore high because of a relative lack of corporate news.
