27 April 2005, 11:02  The dollar hit one-week highs against the Euro

The dollar hit one-week highs against the euro and Swiss franc on Wednesday after robust U.S. home sales data brightened the outlook for the world's biggest economy. Investor focus is on more U.S. data this week, with March durable goods orders due later on Wednesday. First-quarter growth figures and the March PCE (personal consumption expenditure) index, the Fed's prefered measure of inflation, are also due this week. Тhe dollar was up half a percent against the euro to $1.2916 The dollar was also up two thirds of a percent against the Swiss franc at 1.1949 francs. The dollar was also slightly higher against the yen at 106.23.
