26 January 2005, 15:52  U.S. Dollar Falls Against Other Major Currencies in European Trading; Gold Prices Rise

The U.S. dollar fell Wednesday morning against other major currencies in European trading. Gold prices rose. The euro was quoted at $1.3010, up from $1.2964 Tuesday.
Other dollar rates compared with late Tuesday included: 103.37 Japanese yen, down from 104.04; 1.1907 Swiss francs, down from 1.1944, and 1.2337 Canadian dollars, down from 1.2385.
The British pound was quoted at $1.8762, up from $1.8654.
Gold traded in London at $423.70 bid per troy ounce, up from $423.10 late Tuesday. In Zurich, the bid was $423.20, up from $422.80.
Gold fell $4.30 in Hong Kong to close at $422.85.
Silver traded in London at $6.68 bid per troy ounce, unchanged from late Tuesday. (По сведением информационного агентства <->)
