Tokyo stocks fell on Tuesday morning after disappointing industrial production data stoked concern about Japan’s stalled economy.
The Nikkei 225 average fell 0.8 per cent to 10,887.41 by early afternoon while the Topix index dropped 0.5 per cent to 1,098.18.
