TOKYO, Nov 29 - Japan's vice finance minister on Monday repeated his warning against the yen's recent rise, saying authorities would act on rapid moves in foreign exchange rates.
"The yen's recent rise has been rapid, and it does not necessarily reflect economic fundamentals," Koichi Hosokawa told a news conference, repeating his previous remarks. "We will take bold action against rapid moves."
The dollar stayed in sight of a record low against the euro and a 4-1/2-year low versus the yen on Monday.
