Trade volatile trade due to U.S. Thanksgiving holiday. * Euro rises to new high of $1.3231, versus $1.3175 late in New York.
* Spot silver rises to $7.71/7.74 compared with New York's late quote of $7.58/7.60, while platinum rises to $863.00/867.00 from $857.00/863.00.
* Palladium falls $1 to $213.00/218.00.
