BERLIN, Nov 24 - Consumer prices in the German state of Bavaria fell in November by 0.5 percent month-on-month and rose by 2.1 percent year-on-year, the state's statistics office said on Wednesday.
In October, Bavaria's consumer price index rose by 0.4 percent compared with the previous month, and by 2.5 percent year-on-year.
Data for six major German states are used to calculate a preliminary figure for Germany.
The statistics office gave the following breakdown of its November consumer price data:
