Canada's annual inflation rate in February was 0.7 percent, down from 1.2 percent in January, partly due to lower gasoline prices compared to before the start of war in Iraq one year ago, Statistics Canada said on Thursday. The year-on-year increase in consumer prices was less than the 0.8 percent which had been predicted by market analysts and was the smallest 12-month rise since Dec 2001, the state agency said.///
