German unadjusted unemployment rose by 20,000 in February compared to January, Germany's Die Welt newspaper reported on Thursday, citing initial calculations by the Federal Labour Office. In a summary of a report to be published on Friday, the paper said that labour market experts attributed the rise to seasonal factors. Die Welt did not give an adjusted figure. Germany's Federal Labour Office is due to publish February unemployment figures on March 4. In January unadjusted unemployment rose by 282,000 to 4.597 million.||
