BRUSSELS, Jan 5 - Inflation in the euro zone eased to 2.1 percent in December from 2.2 percent in November, the European Union's statistics office said on Monday. Eurostat's estimate of December inflation was broadly in line with a consensus forecast of economists surveyed by which called for an annual rise of 2.05 percent. The monthly change in prices and details of December inflation will be released by Eurostat on January 21, according to its prelimanary release schedule.//
