TOKYO, Jan 16 - Tokyo share prices closed higher on Friday as investors chased after Pioneer Corp <6773.T> and other digital electronics makers with strong growth prospects ahead of third-quarter earnings announcements in the coming weeks. TDK Corp <6762.T>, the world's largest maker of magneto-resistive HDD heads, and other electronics parts makers were also sought after. The Nikkei average <.N225> closed up 1.80 percent at 10,857.20, bouncing back from a 1.82 percent decline in the previous session, its biggest fall since December 16.
