LONDON, Oct 3 - House prices in Britain rose 1.5 percent in September from August to stand 18.6 percent higher in the three months to September from a year earlier, the Halifax Bank said on Friday. Last month the bank reported prices rose 1.3 percent in August to be 19.1 percent up in the three months to August.//
