Natural-gas futures touched a three-month high this evening and crude futures were trading near USD32 a barrel amid growing doubt that heating-fuel supplies will be adequate to meet global winter demand. November natural gas was at USD 5.61 per million British thermal units, up 11.6 cents.
It had climbed earlier to a high of USD5.80, a level not seen since late June. November crude was up 87 cents at USD31.88 per barrel after a high at USD31.95. //www.fxcentre.com
