ISLAMABAD, Sept 19 - U.S. Treasury Secretary John Snow said on Friday the United States was doing all it could to boost its growth, but other leading economies must do more. "The United States is trying to step up to the plate... We are concerned about many parts of the rest of the world in terms of their growth rates," Snow told a luncheon hosted by Pakistan's Finance Minister Shaukat Aziz. Snow, who departs later on Friday to attend weekend meetings in Dubai of the Group of Seven -- United States, Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy and Japan -- said many countries were growing at rates "way under their capacity" to perform. He said European economies were "stagnant basically", and that Japan had gone through "10 years of very anaemic growth". "The United States can't be the only engine of growth," Snow said.//www.k2kapital.com
