TOKYO, Sept 16 - The Group of Seven countries will discuss foreign exchange markets when they meet this week in Dubai, a senior Japanese Finance Ministry official said on Tuesday. The official, speaking to reporters on condition of anonymity, declined to say whether Japan's recent currency intervention would be brought up but said he did not expect the views of the G7 nations on forex to deviate from past statements. On the global economy, the official said a recovery was occurring faster than had been expected and that downside risks had largely receded. Finance ministers and central bank governors of the G7 -- the United States, Britain, Japan, Germany, France, Italy and Canada -- are set to meet in Dubai on the fringes of the semi-annual meetings of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund.//
