BERLIN, Sept 10 - Germany's trade surplus with the rest of the world widened in July to 14.1 billion euros from 10.4 billion euros in June, Federal Statistics Office data showed on Wednesday, as the weaker euro boosted exports. The figure compared with the consensus forecast in a poll for a trade surplus of 10.5 billion euros . The Office said exports totalled 57.8 billion euros, a rise of 5.4 percent year on year, while imports amounted to 43.7 billion euros, up 2.3 percent versus July 2002. Adjusted for seasonal factors, exports rose 2.8 percent from June 2003, while imports fell 2.2 percent. July's trade surplus was higher than a surplus of 10.4 billion euros in June and 12.2 billion euros recorded in July 2002. In the January to July period as a whole, the surplus narrowed to 73.3 billion euros from 75.6 billion euros in the same year-earlier period. Germany's current account balance, the broadest measure of trade which also includes flows in services and investments, had a surplus of 1.1 billion euros in July, down from 2.5 billion euros in June, below analysts' forecasts for a surplus of 2.0 billion euros.//
