NUREMBERG, Germany, Aug 6 - The German Federal Labour Office said on Wednesday it was sticking to its projection of a funding shortfall of between 6.5 billion euros and 7.5 billion euros in 2003. The shortfall will have to be covered by the federal government, already struggling with a budget deficit set to exceed EU budget rules in 2003 for the second year in a row. Labour Office President Florian Gerster said he expected unemployment to average between 4.4 and 4.5 million this year.
