MADRID, Aug 5 - Spain's registered unemployment rate fell to 8.4 percent in July compared with 8.6 percent in June, the Labour Ministry said on Tuesday. The number of Spaniards registered as unemployed fell by 27,177 people in July to 1.57 million people, the ministry said. The latest quarterly unemployment survey by the National Statistics Institute, which is used for international comparisons, showed Spain's jobless rate falling to 11.12 percent of the workforce in the second quarter of 2003 compared with 11.73 percent in the first quarter.
