NEW YORK, July 30 - A roundly stronger dollar reached its highest since late April against the yen on Wednesday, in advance of U.S. data that traders anticipate will show a U.S. economic recovery. The dollar rose as high as 120.43 yen , its highest since April 29 and up nearly half a percent on the day. It also gained more than 1 percent against the Australian dollar, trading around 65.60 cents . The dollar rose across the board in thin trading in the absence of any fresh economic data. This week's key data, including the U.S. unemployment report, a reading on the manufacturing sector and second quarter gross domestic product, are due to be released on Thursday and Friday.
