TOKYO — Tokyo opened mixed Friday as investors watched for signs of support for local stocks after a decline in the U.S. market. The Nikkei Stock Average of 225 selected issues was up 52.05 points, or 0.65%, at 8,083.60 points at the open. The index lost 78.22 points, or 0.96%, on Thursday.
