25 September 2002, 09:40  Forex - Dollar weak late morning Tokyo on long liquidations in cautious trade

The dollar was weak in late morning trade on continued long liquidations after the currency's sharp run-up during the three day weekend here and with investors wary of domestic and overseas uncertainties, dealers said.
Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi is expected to reshuffle the Cabinet as early as the start of next week, with the possibility of news on any major changes being leaked early, and plenty of debate over whether fresh policies can be expected.
The continued war of words between the Iraq, the US and UK, as well as the upcoming G7 meeting in Washington at the end of the week, is also helping to keep the market cautious.//www.ananova.com
