TOKYO (AFX-ASIA) - Share prices closed lower in thin post-holiday trade, pressured by futures-led selling, along with selling by foreign investors, dealers said. The local equity market is likely to continue under pressure this week, with the market expected to be short of participants just after the "Obon" holiday, and as unwinding of cross shareholdings progresses, they said. The Nikkei 225 index closed down 189.03 points or 1.93 pct at 9,599.10, off a high of 9,773.38 and a low of 9,499.51.//www.forexdirectory.net
