2 July 2002, 10:32  Dow ended the session with a loss of 133.47 points

or 1.44% at 9109.79 as a late session slide took the index to its lows of the day after blue chips started the day in the black. Nasdaq ended down 59.41 points or 4.06% at 1403.80 but had never had the fortune to trade in the black today. Within the Dow, IBM, JP Morgan and ATT all lost more than 6% with most other stocks also bleeding red ink. Only 6 Dow stocks were up today. On the Nasdaq, WorldCom set a record with 1.5 billion shares changing hands as the stock slid 93% to close at $0.07. Also on the Nasdaq, Dell, Cisco, Amgen, Oracle and Veritas were among the losers. S&P 500 ended down 21.16 points or 2.14% at 968.65. //MarketNews
