The yen edged higher against the dollar in Asia Thursday, recovering a little of Wednesday's losses. However, bids in the mid-Y128's and offers around Y129, along with expected option expirys around Y128.60 was keeping trade rangebound. The euro also clawed back a little of the previous day's losses, touching $0.9060. However, trade was seen as muted with many European centres closed for Ascension Day holiday.
