WIESBADEN, Germany (AFX) - German retail sales rose a real 1.2 pct in March from February and fell a real 4.5 pct year-on-year, according to figures from the Federal Statistics Office. Economists polled by AFX News had forecast sales would remain unchanged from February and would fall 2.0 pct year-on-year.
