Currency markets were subdued in Asian trade Monday, as the Japanese "Golden Week" holiday period started. The yen traded in a narrow, featureless Y127.80/00 range against the dollar and Y115.23/40 range against the euro. The euro was similarly becalmed, trading $0.9015/25. Dealers, however, reported a good level of bids around $0.9005 from Asian accounts.//MarketNews
