The Dow industrials closed up 207.65 points or 2.06% at 10301.32, just off its day's high of 10308.17. The Nasdaq rose 63.01 points or 3.59% to close at 1816.79. The S&P 500 gained 25.64 points or 2.33% to end at 1128.19.
