PARIS (AFX) - Finance Minister Laurent Fabius will lower the government's 2002 GDP forecast on Feb 4, a source close to the matter said, without detailing the likely new level. In December Fabius said any downward revision in the government's official forecast for the year would take place in February. The 2002 budget is based on expected GDP in the range 2.25-2.50.
