The yen clawed back some ground against both the dollar and the euro in Asian trade Thursday and the euro held onto Wednesday's gains against the dollar. However, trade was muted as Japanese markets were again closed for a national holiday. In late Asian trade, the dollar-yen stood at Y131.91 and euro-yen was at Y119.10. The euro was last at $0.9032 against the dollar.
