LONDON (AFX) - UK provisional M4 money supply was up 0.4 pct in November on a seasonally-adjusted basis from October and was 8.1 pct higher than in the same month a year earlier, the Bank of England said. The AFX News median of analysts' forecasts was for M4 to have risen 0.7 pct month-on-month and 8.5 pct year-on-year. November provisional M4 lending rose 3.7 bln stg on a seasonally-adjusted basis, which was equivalent to a 0.4 pct increase month on month and an 8.1 pct annual rise. November M4 lending was forecast to have risen 7.5 bln stg. The bank said total repos included in M4 rose by 5.6 bln stg.
