MUNICH (AFX) - The West German Ifo business climate index rose to 84.9 in November from 84.7 in October, and was down from 97.0 in November last year, the Ifo economic research institute said. The AFX consensus of economists had forecast an increase to 85.2 in November. The November business assessment index was at 79.1, down from 79.9 in October and down from 92.5 in November last year. The West German business expectations index was 90.9, up from 89.6 in October, and down from 101.6 in November 2000, Ifo said.
