TOKYO (AFX-ASIA) - Finance Minister Masajuro Shiokawa said the government's Council on Economic and Fiscal Policy did not discuss an expected revision of the GDP growth forecast today and will consider the issue in November. Asked after the conclusion of the meeting whether it discussed the forecast, Shiokawa said: "We didn't discuss that matter today. It will be discussed in November." The government had earlier said it would revise the GDP forecast at today's meeting.
