TOKYO (AFX-ASIA) - The Ministry of Finance said foreign exchange reserves at end-August were 372.2 bln usd.
The ministry gave the following breakdown of the reserve constituents:
Foreign currencies - 357.6 bln usd
Gold - 6.7 bln usd
IMF reserves - 5.4 bln usd
Special Drawing Rights - 2.5 bln usd
