TOKYO (AFX-ASIA) - Household spending in July fell 1.6 pct year-on-year following a 3.5 pct decline in the previous month, the Cabinet Office said. The largest decliner in the month was spending on housing, which fell 8.8 pct, followed by education, down 7.0 pct, and medical services, down 5.6 pct.
