FRANKFURT (AFX) - The DAX-30 index fell below the 3,700-point level at 9.06 am, to a level not seen since Nov 1997, dealers said. At 9.15 am, the DAX-30 index was down 112,52 points or 2.95 pct at 3,697.15. Yesterday, the benchmark index dipped temporarily below the key 3,800-point three-year support level immediately before the close. Dealers said early volatility was amid nervousness ahead of the keenly watched German Ifo business climate index, wider political uncertainty as well as triple-witching.
