BERLIN (AFX) - German Finance Minister Hans Eichel said that the economic effects of yesterday's terrorist attacks in the US will be "very limited." There is no reason to expect a crisis, given the contact between finance ministers and bank governers of the G7 nations, Eichel said at a press conference in Berlin. Following yesterday's attacks the financial markets responded "reasonably," he said. "We should ask ourselves two questions: do we have the will and the capacity to organise ourselves (against terrorism) and can we count on the self-discipline of the markets? The answer to both questions is yes," he added.
