LONDON (AFX) - UK August final M0 money supply rose a seasonally-adjusted 0.6 pct from July and was 7.3 pct higher than in August 2000, according to the Bank of England. Provisional estimates were a 0.6 pct rise on the month for a 7.2 pct increase on the year. Notes and coins in circulation grew an adjusted 0.6 pct on the month and was 7.5 pct up on last year.
