In U.S. stocks Friday, the Nasdaq composite completed its 6.5% drop for the week with a 1.05% drop Friday, 17.94 points, to 1,687.70 about where it was in April. The Dow industrials, though, fell 2.39% on Friday alone, falling 234.99 to 9,605.85. The S&P 500 was off 1,86%, 20.62 points, to 1,085.78, its worst level in three years.
